Jean-Mathieu Meyer bought this album from "Mylodon Records" - both parties of this purchase are enough a recommendation to me to consider buying it, too. And I did. And I'm happy I did. The kind of prog the Chilean band "Anima" presents us with on "Deus" is a complex one with quite some variety, depending on who's the principal writer of the respective songs. It's Heavy, it's melodic, it's progressive and the wonderful Hammond organ is all over the album. Kalin is a keyboard maestro and the influences of ELP, Derek Sherinian, UK and the '70s progressive bands is there but not in your face. 10 out of 10. crazyrussian
